by Karen Dickinson | Apr 10, 2018 | Success Stories

Delighted with my results for 5 pupils entered for Trinity College of Music piano exams – 1 distinction, 2 merits and 2 passes. Congratulations to all of them!

The collection was amassed by David Winston, who holds a Royal Warrant as Restorer and Conservator of Pianos to HM the Queen. It is comprised of 26 unique instruments https://www.dreweatts.com/news-videos/press-release-the-david-winston-piano-collection-to-be-sold-at-dreweatts/?fbclid=IwAR2OV4lRLcvCTnLxskPlF680tj78BL3Il5rpFd_ZHly8ul5FoLqePD4LISU

Headlines like this make me mad.
8 people won these medals yet only 3 where mentioned, spot the common theme! #Olympics #dailymail #Feminism

    1. I thought we weren’t allowed to sing.
    2. It’s a terrible song 3. Do they ever think about having actual musicians & educationalists creating meaningful music?! https://twitter.com/PoliticsForAlI/status/1407385635762081809

Wouldn't it be lovely if the new #modelmusiccurriculum was just a one page PDF that said:

'Inspire young people with whatever music you like, but make sure it's from all genres and styles, by all types of musicians, presented on equal merit, and broadens musicianship' (1)
