KAREN DICKINSON MA LTCL is the Director and creator of MUSIC FOR LITTLE PEOPLE. She graduated from Dartington College of Arts, Devon, England with an Honours degree in music. She completed a teaching diploma in Music Education from the Trinity College of Music; London, England in 1992 and in 1996 was awarded a Master of Arts degree in Music Education from the Institute of Education, London University, England.Her 20,000 word dissertation proposed a music curriculum for pre-school children. Karen believes that the preschool years are a critical period for learning and that music helps lay a strong foundation for later achievement in all subjects.Karen also teaches instruments, singing and theory for all age groups at Music at The Old Forge
