Pedagogical InfluencesMusic For Little People uses methods developed by two distinguished educators in the field of music: John Curwen (1816-80) and Zóltan Kodály (1882-1967). Although they were born only sixty-six years apart, the world into which they were born was very different. Their educational objectives were also dissimilar, but the end results share many similarities. Indeed, Kodály adopted many of Curwen's methods and made them his own.
